A quick Q&A with James

Favourite Capture campaign and why?

I don’t necessarily work on individual campaigns anymore. I love working with any client that is looking to drive ROI – that’s a measurable objective which shopper media can help to meet.

How do you best demonstrate one of the Capture values?

Stay Hungry – I’m a grafter (and also eat enough enough to feed a family of four each day). 

What’s the biggest thing you’ve learnt about shopper?

Managing the ‘perfect’ shopper campaign is like trying to nail jelly to a wall – it’s impossible. We’re definitely the best in the business at managing campaigns through but even we tend to run into issues. The key is managing problems in the most efficient way possible.

What are you known for around the office?

I’m so quiet I’m not really noticed much about the office. I suppose I’m known for being a shy, hardworking lad from Nottingham who is just trying to make it in the big city.

What piece of shopper media would you be and why?

A barker – no frills media channel but they drive a high ROI.
